Tensile Test
This clip shows a 63mm SDR 11 PE pipe with a Mudtight Gold Towing head fitted to each end. As the pipe is pulled apart the load increases to 20kN (2 Tonnes). As the pipe begins to yield and stretch the load decreases slightly. The pipe continues to stretch before eventual failure.
