Pressure Testing
This video clip shows a piece of 63mm SDR11 PE gas pipe. In the top is fitted a Mudtight Gold Towing Head and in the bottom a Brewis Pressure Test End.
The pipe is full of water under pressure. As the pressure rises the pipe swells until it bursts. This normally occurs between 400 and 500 pounds/sq in..
This clearly demonstrates the sealing ability of these two products.
