Pressure Test Ends

Pressure Test Ends were designed and developed by us in 1985 using the same principles as the expanding towing head.  They are inserted into the end of a polyethylene pipe and expanded, using a spanner, to seal and grip the pipe.  The pipe installation can then be tested by connecting a compressor to the ball valve fitted on the end.

Features -

• SDR Specific sizes to 400mm
   

• Large bore stainless steel test ends are available for use in the water industry.
   

• Larger sizes have an optional outer sleeve if test pressure is high.
   

• The internal pressure forces the teeth to grip harder as the pipe expands.
   

• Tested to the bursting pressure of the pipe.
