Pressure Test Ends
Pressure Test Ends were designed and developed by us in 1985 using the same principles as the expanding towing head. They are inserted into the end of a polyethylene pipe and expanded, using a spanner, to seal and grip the pipe. The pipe installation can then be tested by connecting a compressor to the ball valve fitted on the end.
Features -
SDR Specific sizes to 400mm
Large bore stainless steel test ends are available for use
in the water industry.
Larger sizes have an optional outer sleeve if test pressure is high.
The internal pressure forces the teeth to grip harder as the
pipe expands.
